Enumerated June 14, 1860. This is interesting.
John Marshall Orr was married twice: (1) Sallie Wilson-from death certificate of Sallie Orr Palmer and (2) Sarah Jane Prater, daughterof Joseph Prater and mother of the three youngest children of John M.Orr.
>From all the information that I have seen the two Orr families are connected, but will have to go to Ireland to find the connection.
I have death certificate of W.W. Orr, but the informant did notknowany information: father, mother, etc.
I have checked the Wilson Family and cannot find where a Sallie Wilson married an Orr. There are several Sallie Wilsons. The Rev. James Jackson Wilsonwentfrom South Carolina to Hall and Banks Counties in Georgia. Thought Imightfind it in "Threads of Ancestors", but no such luck. Will not boreyouanymore.

Died--Mrs Amanda Jameson McAdams died Sunday, April 11, at the homeofher son, Tom O. Jameson, near Easley, and was buried in theJamesonburying ground. She was in her 80th year. Her maiden name wasAmandaOrr and she was twice married. Her first husband was 'Carrol'Jamesonand two sons survive this marriage, Tom O. of this county andJohn C.of the West. Her second husband was Mr. McAdams and by him twosonssurvive, George McAdams of Texas and Mason B. McAdams of Oklahoma.
