REFN: 1673 Thomas Osborne livedx on land next to Longfield. He was a Captain i n the militia appointed by the Virginia General Court. He arrived in the "Bo na Nova" November 1619 (Neugent). Another source states that Captain Thomas Osborne came to Virginia in November 1616 and settled at "Coxendale" county of Chesterfield about 1625. He was a member of the House of Burgesses in 16 29-1633.
