General Notes (Wife)

[18401.ged]

Newspaper clipping from Elise Sendelbeck: (1901) VOLKERT -- February 24, Mrs. Elizabeth Volkert, aged 70 years 9 months 15 days. Funeral Wednesday, February 27, from residence, 606 Sixth Street at 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. from Emmanual Church, corner Twelfth and Lysander.

From this I calculated her birth date as 9 May 1830. The address of 606 Sixth Street, Detroit, would have been razed in the period 1955 to 1960 for Urban re-development in Detroit. RD[Downing.ged]
