He enlisted on Jan. 24, 1863 at Blount Springs, AL into Company ____Regiment, Alabama infantry by his father-in-law.
The family moved to Mt. Pleasant in 1873-4. To Hamilton County, Txafter. He was Hamilton County surveyor during 1876-78.
