Email from Marjorie Martin This probably won't be of much help but it is the best I can come up with right now without doing some digging.  It is the  "Will of Edward Pugh". In the name of God Amen I, Edward Pugh of South Carolina, Laurens District, being weak in Body and well stricken in age, but of sound mind and Memory, Blessed be to the Almighty God for the same and publish this my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following Viz, that is to say, First after all my just Debts be paid, First I give unto my son William Pugh One Dollar because he had  had his part and all my Estate, my land, Stock and Household furniture, and every thing possess I give unto my four daughters, Polly Cumpton the wife of Wiliam Cumpton, Elizabeth Gilbert, the wife of William Gilbert, Nancy Spurgin Widow.  Nancy Spurgin is to have fifty dollars less than my other daughters, Sally Pugh Single Woman.  These four daughters shall have all I possess according to the above Directions, and my executor shall have power to sell and make sale of and rights to my Land and the same as would myself and I do appoint my son-in-law William Gilbert my executor to this my last Will and Testament,  In witness, I have set my hand and seal this 17th day of January 1829.
