It was a hard life and the mother and two of the daughters died. After his wife's death, William and children Thomas, William Rowan and Fiza Ann moved farther west to Sullivan County, MO. There he married a second time to Rebecca BARLOW. One child, John Henry, was born to this union. Henry Mock, Sr. died in Rowan County, NC and his estate was probated there om 15 AUG 1840. William was then living in Henry County, IN so he gave brother, Henry, Jr., power of attorney to claim his share of the estate, which was in Davie County.
