Died unmarried. A series of e-mail correspondences took place during December, 1999, between me and Scott Redfield, of Milford, CT. A man in West Haven had found a grave marker inscribed "Abigail Redfield", and Scott contacted me to see if I could trace down the burial location. As date of death was 11-22-1782, it was this Abigail. Subsequent investigation revealed that her burial place was in the Ol North Cemetery at Killingworth. As a result of the efforts between the man finding the marker, Scott Redfield, and myself, Abigail's grave marker has been returned and placed in its proper location.

Benjamin's death date was found in the Wichita Eagle Obituaries, as posted by the Midwest Historical and Genealogical Society. Copies of the obituaries, including the newspaper photograph of him, were obtained in October, 1999. I found it interesting to note that Benj. Boyce Redfield was the informant for the data on the death certificate of his father, Frank Redfield. He did not know the maiden name of Frank Redfield's mother (Hannah A. Nichols), who would have been his grandmother.
