George was first assessed in Chester County on the East Nottingham returns for 1740/1 (apparently a married man, tax 2s); His Will of 20 Aug 1797 was probated 26 May 1803. His wife joined him on certain conveyances which provides her name, the first of which was 1763.
George Robinett, pioneer Maryland farmer, provincial solder in the French and Indian War, was named in his father's (Samuel Robinett) Deed of Gift (in the nature of a Will) as 'the youngest son', and inherited the paternal home and farm under the provisions of that instrument, which reads, in part, 'Likewise I give to my Youngest Son George Robinett the plantation which I now live on containing one hundred and seventy five acres of land to him and his heirs or assigns for ever but not to be disposed of whilst my wife lives without consent. Likewise, my Bible and Carpenter Tools reserving unto my well beloved wife Mary Robinett the best room in the mansion during her natural life., etc.' Source: Jerry Roninett database Mar 1997

Elijah was a very early settler who lived and died on the farm that Murley, the first settler, was buried on, according to Hilleary F. Willison. In or about 1781, Elijah Robinett, it seems, resided in Cumberland Valley Twp, Bedford Co, PA as appears from the following record:
'Associators and Militia - County of Bedford'
'The Third Company of the First Battalion of Bedford County Militia commanded by Capt. Evan Cissna. Included: Charles Wals, Elijah Robinet, John Spurgon, etc.'
Elijah Robinett is not listed on any of the extant tax lists for Bedford County, PA. It is possible that he met Ann Farmer while there, as mentioned above. He may have joined the company and still been living on his father's place on Murley's Branch, in adjoining Flintstone District of Allegany County, MD. In 1803 he inherited all of his father's lands and the Plantation at Murley's Branch.
Elijah Robinette Sr. was living in 1828, but the time of his death is uncertain. His name was listed on the Committee of Vigilance in Flintstone District for that year.

Jeremiah was one of the elder sons of George, 139. He migrated from Murley's Branch (which later became Flintstone), Allegany Co, MD, westward prior to 1800. In 1800, he is listed in the Brook County, VA tax list, as follows: Robinet, Jeremiah 1-2 (one male over 21, 2 horses). James and Ezekiel, his sons, are also shown on this tax list.
Jeremiah is reported to have migrated west with two sons, James and Amon and six unnamed daughters. His oldest son, Amos, remained behind in Maryland.
According to a letter from Hilleary F. Wilson, of Flintstone, Jeremiah is reported to have owned a farm near his father (George) on Murley's Branch, but no Deed for purchase or sale thereof has been found.
In 1820 Jeremiah (Jere as listed) is shown on the Census for Alexander Twp, Athens Co, OH, with himself, wife and one daughter in the household.
From a letter from W.B. Evans, Johnstown, OH to Mr. Monthaven dated 29 Oct. 1969:
"In Brooke Co., VA (WVA), the following quit claim Deed was recorded: 'this indenture made the twenty second day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three, between Ezekiel Robinette and Mary his wife, Richard Willison and Rachel his wife, Elisha Willison and Ester his wife, Robert McIntire and Anne his wife, James Robinett and Priscilla his wife, and Margaret Hyatt heirs in law of Hezekiah Hyatt deceased of the one part, and Hezekiah Hyatt and Ezekiel Hyatt of the other part'."

Nathan was probably born in the Valley of the Antietim in Frederick Co, Md. He was known locally as Nathan of Hooks Corner. His wife was aged 75 years, lacking 4 days, when she died.
Nathan owned a large farm in Hooks Corner, about 4 miles from the town of Flintstone, just off the Old National Pike, where he resided. Mr. Hilleary F. Willison owned a farm that was adjacent to that of Nathan and was in sight of the State Line between Allegany County MD and Bedford Co, PA. Mr. Willison wrote in March 1918, "I can stand in my barnyard and see the spot where Nathan Robinett of Hooks Corner was found dead one Sunday morning with a bottle of whiskey in each hand got at the old Tavern stand that I have lived in for 70 years, built 99 years ago. He was not a drinking man but got the liquor for medicinal purposes. Married Nancy Willison sister of my grandfather John. Nathan was a good citizen, owned several farms and colored servants and kept open house." (Letter of 24 Mar 1918).
Nathan Robinett, during his lifetime, bought and sold land many time in Allegany County, Maryland.
