 Monnette page 1218 has him as son of Joseph 3, Peter 2, V i n cent 1. But  Fitz Randolph Genealogy, page 114, has Lewis Runyan b. c i r ca 1766, as son  of Joseph and Jane (Dunn) Runyan.  Joseph 3 died 1760 , s i x years before the birth of Lewis. Tingley Family Revised, Vol. 1, page 41 a p p arently following Monnette, has him as son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Trembl e y ) Runyon. [First lesson of N.J. genealogy:  don't follow Monnette!].
