The Will of John Sellers dated 21 January 1814
In the Name of God Amen! I John Seller of the County of Lincoln and State of North Carolina being Very Sick and feeble but of Sound minde and Memory caling to mind the mortality of my Body as I know that it is appointed for all men once to die. I therefore do make this my last Will and Testament in the following manner and form. First I comit my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God who gave it and my Body to the Earth to be buried in a Deasent Christian Buriel. and as touching my worldly Eastate wherewith it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me with I distribute the same as follows
I give and bequeath unto my Brothers [George] Sons that is to my Brother George Sellers Sons [G] John & Henry Sellers all my real and personal Eastate which shall be eaqually divided between them after my decease and not before
I ordain and appoint my dear Friend Jacob Plonk senior as Executor of this my last Will and testament who shall execute the above according to Law first of all paying all Lawful Debts as witness my Hand and Seal this 21 day of January AD 1814

The Will of a John Sellers is recorded in Lincoln County, North Carolina (Will File #5). It says "I give and bequeath unto my brother's sons, that is my brother George Sellers' sons John and Henry Sellers all my real and personal estate" etc. The will is signed January 24, 1814. This John and his brother George could be the John and George, sons of Phillip (Heinrich) Soller (Sellers) who were in North Carolina at the time of Phillip's death in Pennsylvania in 1769. If so, this would establish that two of the immigrant Phillip's sons settled in the same part of North Carolina to which our line has been traced.
