Benjamin P. Taylor - obituary

SULPHUR SPRINGS, Ark. - Benjamin Paul Taylor, 74 of Sulphur Springs, died Jan. 13, 1996 at his home. He was born Feb. 11, 1921 at Decatur to Joseph Crawford and Alice Elizabeth Boyle Taylor. He was a former resident of Tulsa, Okla. and had lived in Sulphur Springs for the past 20 years. He was a carpenter and a farmer, a veteran of World War II, a member of the VFW at Gentry and the American Legion in Sulphur Springs and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Nora Taylor, of the home; one son, Bobby Taylor of Owasso, Okla; five daughters, Norma Kilgore and Donna Pressnall, both of Sperry, Okla, Betty Dobson of Broken Arrow, Okla, Mary Ann Campbell of Vian, Okla. and Brenda Key of Crowley, Texas; one brother Wes Taylor of Anderson, Mo.; three sisters, Daisy Blagg and Alene Hurt, both of Colcord, Okla. and Violet Evans of Gravette, Ark; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Dickson Cemetery near Cherokee City, Ark. with Larry Ellis and the Rev. Sam Moore officiating. Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
