He served in various colonial wars , t h e French and Indian War and the Revolution and it is claimed tried to ser v e i n the War of 1812 but was prevented by the intervention of his friends.

A Noah Beach, son of the widow Phebe Beach, was born 20-O c t -1781, and it is possible he was a son of this man.

He was a state representative from Whiting, Vermont, in 1 8 0 1 and 1805, in addition to holding various town offices. He moved to we s t ern New York c. 1790, but returned to Vermont in 1794. He again went t o N e w York in 1811, but was forced to flee back to Vermont in 1813 becaus e o f B ritish raids during the War of 1812. He returned to New York for th e f i nal time in 1815. Aaron Beach saw service during the Revolution and his pen s i on papers list his children.
