General Notes for Child William Terrell



He and his wife lived in Hanover County VA after 1720. He is believed to be a brother of Richmond Terrell who patented land in New Kent County in 1656. Some legends have it that the Terrells were persecuted Quakers who fled to America to secure religious liberty, but this is doubtful.
