General Notes (Husband)



 According to a marker on the side of the Forks of the Di x River Baptist Church, James Thompson was the first survey or of Lincoln County, Kentucky. Daniel Boone was appointe d as his deputy in 1783. James Thompson served as State Rep resentative in 1803 and State Senator 1804-1806. He was a 1 st Lieutenant with the 12th Virginia militia during the Rev olutionary War.
