General Notes for Child Chauncey Beach
Records of the East Bloomfield Church, Ontario County , N e w York, give his date of death as 13-May-1825 at age 77, but the BEACH FAM I L Y MAGAZINE, Vol. I, No. 4, p. 96, says 12-May-1825 at age 76. He was repo r t edly in Goshen, Connecticut, as late as 1800, where he ran the local mi l l , but was in East Bloomfield, New York, by 1801 when he joined the church t h e re. A Noble family genealogy suggests his second wife was Hannah Whip p l e, but East Bloomfield Church records say he married Mrs. Earl Stan l e y in 1814.

He bought land at Braddocks Bay, now Parma, Monroe Coun t y , New York, c. 1796, together with his cousin, Michael Beach(5) Linus( 4 ) . He may have died from wounds or disease as the result of service in th e W a r of 1812. His widow remarried Jesse Tuttle.
