He is likely the one on the 1790 C e n sus of Queensbury Township, Washington County, New York. DAR Application 4 2 9 823 by descendant Agnes Beach establishes this man's lineage, marriage an d c h ildren, as well as service in the Revolution.

He moved to Athens, Ohio, with his parents in 1814. Th e f a mily thereafter moved to Luray, Licking County, Ohio. Isaac Hawley Bea c h s tarted work at the patent scale factory of Gibb & Taylor in Newark, Oh i o . Here he married and shortly after moved to St. Albans Township, Ohio, wh e r e he was a blacksmith. In 1856 he moved to Webster County, Iowa , a n d lived 3 miles from Beach Corners. He was a local minister of the Methodist C h u rch and active in community affairs.
