Rev. Vosburgh was tried and acquitted of trying to poision his wife! He was also requested to resign the pastorate of the Madison Avenue Baptist Church. All per articles in the Brookyln Eagle. Articles available at http://brooklynpubliclibrary.org
It looks like after the divorce, he ended up heading up the "largest protestant congregation west of the Missippi" in 1st Baptist Church Denver, Colorado and made some trips back to Brookly and was a guest speaker at the Washington Ave. Baptist Church on several occasions.
