Descendant of Abraham Vosburgh, of New York. Daughter of Lorenzo Dow Vosburgh (1815-87) and Eliza Ann Wiggins (1821-95), his wife. Granddaughter of Jacob Vosburgh (1785-1853) and Ruth Bates (1788-1839), his wife. Gr-granddaughter of Abraham Vosburgh and Chloe Vosburgh (d. 1799), his wife. Abraham Vosburgh, in 1780, served as a private in Capt. Evert Bogardus' company, Col. Johannes Snyder's Ulster County regiment. He died, 1821, in Wyoming County, Pa.
