I, No. 3, p. 63; Vol. II, No. 1, p. 115 gives her date of birth as above , b u t this would mean her mother, born in 1740, was only 12 at the time of he r b i rth. It is more likely the year is 1757, especially since her parents' n e x t child was not born until 1759.
