General Notes (Wife)

Health: Hard of hearing from whooping cough

Rita was sick about six weeks before she died around Easter time. She started having problems with her feet, then toes, then ankles, etc. Fluid formed in the sac aroung her heart. Regina was in Union Memorial Hospital at the time, recovering from burns. Her parnets were there visiting Ragina when Rita got worse at home. Xav decided to get her to the hospital - he fixed the back seat of the Packard car into a bed. He picked Rita up in his arms, she slumped over, the fluid sac had burst, and she died.
