   GEORGE WHITE, A.M., LL.B., for more than forty year s a m e mber of the New-England Historic Genealogical Socie ty, di e d at his home in Wellesley, Jnly 29, 1899. He wa s a desce nd ant ofThomas White, who probably was a nativ e of Weymout h , England.  He was admitted a freeman of Mas sachusetts Co lo ny, March 3, 1635, being then and previous ly an inhabita n t of Weymouth.  He was born in 1599; die d in 1679.  His w if e's name unknown, probably Hannah . Hi s son, Ebenezer Wh ite , was born in Weymoutb in 1648, wa s admitted a, freema n 167 4, died August, 1703 or 1705. H e married Hannah Phill ips, b orn in Weymouth, Nov. 25, 165 4, daughter of Nichola s Philli ps and Hannah Salter, who w ere married in Boston , Dec. 4, 1 651. His son, Thomas Whi te, was born in Weymou th, and die d April 28, 1752, aged 7 9. His wife was Mary, d aughter of J ames and Sarah (Baker ) White of Dorchester.
