The BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vol. II, No. 1, p. 118 says o n l y that he was born 23-Mar-1774, but others say he died 10-Nov-1841 at Masonv i l le, Delaware County, New York. He moved there from Connecticut in 18 2 4 , settling on a tract of 200 acres. See the accounts of his grandsons, M y r on L. Beach and Ira Beach in BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCHES OF THE LEADINGS CITIZE N S O F DELAWARE COUNTY, NEW YORK, pp. 13, 346. One claims Joshua Beach had eig h t c hildren while the other credits a son Harlow (same as Joshua H. Beach? ) a n d a son Nelson.
