In Vol. II, No. 1, p. 117, however, it says born 26-Aug-1757. The 1790 C e n sus of New Ashford, Massachusetts, shows he had children, and at Vol. III , N o . 4, pp. 312-314, the BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE suggests he was the ancesto r o f t he Beach family of Cowansville, Quebec, Canada. Mahlon W. Beach, BEACH IN C A N ADA, pp. 201-211, identifies the children below and notes his second marri a g e to Anna -----.

Mahlon W. Beach, BEACH IN CANADA, pp. 201-211, says thi s m a n moved to Canada c. 1810 and built a carding mill at was was then Nelsonvi l l e, now Cowansville, Quebec. He had fifteen children, most of whom return e d t o the United States. Toward the end of his life William Beach moved to Dunha m T o wnship, Mississquoi County, Quebec, where he appears on the 1851 Census wit h h i s wife and several of his younger children.
