Brown, WADSWORTH MEMORIAL (OHIO), pp. 169-170, says "Ca m e t o Wadsworth in March, 1830. Was an active member of the Congregationa l c h urch, a man of great firmness and decision of character. Removed to App l e ton, Wis. From there he led two companies of emigrants into Kansas i n t h e time of the outrages committed in the interest of slavery, and sett l e d at Fremont, Kansas. On the death of his son, Dr. S. E. Beach, he ret u r ned to Ohio..." It is not clear which wife is mother of the children below.
