Removed to App l e ton, Wis. From there he led two companies of emigrants into Kansas i n t h e time of the outrages committed in the interest of slavery, and sett l e d at Fremont, Kansas. On the death of his son, Dr. S. E. Beach, he ret u r ned to Ohio..." It is not clear which wife is mother of the children below.

Brown, WADSWORTH MEMORIAL (OHIO), p. 170, says "Studied w i t h Dr. G. K. Pardee and practiced two years in Sharon... Removed to A p p leton, Wisconsin, 1838. Was a man of superior ability and attai n e d a high standing as a physician and surgeon. He removed with his fath e r t o Fremont, Kansas, in 1856. He was appointed a surgeon in the ar m y i n the war of the Rebellion, and died at Louisville, Ky., of typhoid fe v e r." It is not known if he had children.
