General Notes (Husband)

James Bishop lived in Duxbury and Pembroke, Massachus e t t s . He married Mary Hudson on December 12, 1665. Mary ' s w i l l was dated August 3, 1732 and was probated on Ju l y 7 , 17 40 . It indicates that she resided in Pembroke a n d tha t Jam e s had died prior to its writing. It mentio n h er son s Joh n , Hudson, James and Ebenezer; her deceas ed d aughter s, Abi ga il Bonney and Mary Lathley, and he r stil l livin g daughte rs , Elizabeth Bonney and Hannah S immons.

Note: In his book, The Bonney Family, 1898, C. L. Bo n n e y s tated that John and James Bonney both married dau gh te r s o f James Bishop, the Deputy Governor of the Conn ect ic u t Colo ny. This is not correct. Part of the confus io n i s ca used b y the fact that both the Pembroke and Ne w H ave n Jame s Bisho ps had a wife named Mary and daughte rs n ame d Elizab eth an d Abigail. However the New Haven J ame s Bish op's daug hter, E lizabeth, was born May 3, 165 7 ( 7 years b efore Joh n Bonney ) and on September 12, 166 7 ma rried Elea zer Gile s and his d aughter, Abigail, wa s bor n October 30 , 1659 (1 2 years befor e James Bonney ) and sh e married (1 ) John Talm age and (2) Wi lliam Malt bie. My first serious bo yfri en d wa s Ric hard N ot tingham. He was bornJuly 4, 1 946 . H e love d to h unt and fish and his father had a ca b i n i nM adeline , Calif ornia. We dated steadily for al mo st two ye ars unti lcollege . Most of o ur d ates wer e wit h Marcia H olt and T im Hollin gsworth(they later mar ried) . I remembe r maki n g mat chin g shirts for us to we ara t the boat. W e were g ood friends a s well as high sc hoo l s weethe arts.

In college I dated Tom Mowles, a short blond, intelli g e n t , atheist. Iwas definately on t h e rebound from Ri ch a r d . I was a member of theDelta Zeta Sorority and l i v e d i n a sororit y h ouse near San Jose StateColleg e . I h a d a l ot of fun in the Sorority house. I met m y h u sba n dt o b e - John David Feagin on July 30, 1966 . W e met a t a pa rt y that I wasasked to att end . I me t Joh n there . I ha d ne ver seen anyone sohandsome in m y life ! We wer e marri e d i n Sa n Jose on January 28, 1 967shor tly befor e John le f t for Taiwan where I was late r to jo i n him.

In 1961, I got passes to go on the TV program from S a n J o s e named"Record Hop". I dated a n d was active i n J ob' s D au ghters during thistime. My first serious bo yfri en d wa s Ric hard N ot tingham. He was bornJuly 4, 1 946 . H e love d to h unt and fish and his father had a ca b i n i nM adeline , Calif ornia. We dated steadily for al mo st two ye ars unti lcollege . Most of o ur d ates wer e wit h Marcia H olt and T im Hollin gsworth(they later mar ried) . I remembe r maki n g mat chin g shirts for us to we ara t the boat. W e were g ood friends a s well as high sc hoo l s weethe arts.

In college I dated Tom Mowles, a short blond, intelli g e n t , atheist. Iwas definately on t h e rebound from Ri ch a r d . I was a member of theDelta Zeta Sorority and l i v e d i n a sororit y h ouse near San Jose StateColleg e . I h a d a l ot of fun in the Sorority house. I met m y h u sba n dt o b e - John David Feagin on July 30, 1966 . W e met a t a pa rt y that I wasasked to att end . I me t Joh n there . I ha d ne ver seen anyone sohandsome in m y life ! We wer e marri e d i n Sa n Jose on January 28, 1 967shor tly befor e John le f t for Taiwan where I was late r to jo i n him.
