"A printer, formerly connected with the Courier office, disappeared rather unexpectedly from the city yesterday, taking with him a young friend of ours. Don't know how he went--whether by rail, coach, or river-- but his companion, being a good walker, may have gone along. He wasn't quite 'three Sheets to the wind', but we'll waiger a poundcake from Keuthan's that he'll 'turn the Sheets' before Christmas, and come back to Madison. Hope if he does return, he won't 'Sue' us for this notice, as we mean well--better 'sue sheets' as the original cause of it. She had worked at the Kempton
Canning Factory, U.S. Hame Co.
and National Cigar Co.
She was born Aug. 26, 1899, in
Clinton County to William and
Myrtle Blystone Strawn. She
married Sam Lewis on July 6,
1918, and he died July 22, 1986.
Surviving are a son, Sam Jr. of
Kokomo; three daughters, Lena
Clidence of Chesterfield, Reba
Joyce of Satellite Beach, Fla.,
and Maxine Weaver of Michigan-
town; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-
grandchildren and two great-
great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m.
Friday at Goodwin Funeral
