Lawson respectfully swearto That Sion Lawson his brother late of theDist and state aforesaid departed this life intestate about the twentyseventh day of August AD 1853, leaving your petitioner and Mother UnityLawson, Robert Lawson a brother, Nancy Nix wife of Monk Nix, PeggyBailey, Monroe Bailey Jesse B. Bailey Charles and Nancy Bailey minorchildren of Sarah Bailey deceased wife of Levi Bailey. Polly Holcombwife of Jesse Holcomb Unity (Lawson) Whitehead wife of Ransom Whitehead &Perry Lawson and also Milly Lawson widow of the deceased heirs at law himsurviving That at the time of the death of the said Sion Lawson hewas seized and possessed in his own right of personal Estate of about thevalue of two hundred dollars which said estate remains unadministeredTherefore you petitioner prays that Letters of Administration of all andsingular the rights and orders Goods and chattel which owing of thedeceased Maybe granted to him with the usual power and authority as such.And to this end that the ususal powers of the Court May issue to AllKindred and creditors admonishing them to appear in this Court on a datecertain therein to be named, or show cause if any they can why theprayers of your petitioners should not be granted and your Petitionerswell ever Pray

These are, therefore, to cite and admonish all and singular the kindredand creditors of the said deceased, to be and appear before me, at ournext Ordinary's Court for the said District , to be holden at Union CourtHouse on the Eighteenth day of Feby Justand to show cause, if any, whythe said Administration should not be granted.
