General Notes for Child Perry Durfee



[Descendants of Thomas Durfee by Charles L. Durfee - charlesldurfee.GED]

Perry and Edmond were twins.

It is assumed that Perry's widow and children moved to Broadalbin, Montgomery County, NY, with his parents and siblings in 1801.  This is according to Reed who cites as his source the History of Wyoming County, NY.

The Descendants of Thomas Durfee.  William Field Reed.  Washington, DC. Two Volumes.  1902 and 1905.  Volume 1, page 242.

The Gene Pool Individual Records, a database on the internet at Ancestry.com, June 2000, states that Annie died in 1867.  It is almost certainly wrong.  The information is from a medical research group studying genetics.  There are numerous errors in this database and all information must be verified from other sources. ============================== End of Notes ==============================
