By the spring of 1639 he had rem ov e d t o Plymout h where he was elected constable 5 Marc h 16 39 , al though h e did not sell his land in Scituate o r bu y i n Plym outh unti l 1640. He removed to Cambridge a bou t 164 2 wher e his wife a nd son Matthew died. His so n Joh n gradu ated fr om Harvard i n 1649.
His will is dated 8 Nov. 1656 and was probated 20 Dec. 1656.
