Eugene D. Bramlett
Eugene D. Bramlett, a retired equipment operator for the Uniman Sand Co., died Sunday morning at the Sunridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Salinas. He was 77. Born Nov. 16, 1920, in Pope County, Ark., Mr. Bramlett lived in Brentwood, Seaside and Salinas. He belonged to the 25-year club at Del Monte Properties and was an avid duck hunter and fisherma n. Mr. Bramlett was an Army veteran of World War II, after which he worked for Uniman Sand for 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Henrietta; a daughter, E. Rugena Lam beth of Salinas; a brother, Alex Bramlett of Oregon; four sister s, Claud Ellen Woodard of Arley Ala., Audrey Stewart of Lawndale , and Hazel Starnes and Pat Patterson, both of Sacramento; two g randsons; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. and 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. today at the Struve and Laporte Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday in the chapel, with burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. The family suggests that any memorial contributions be sent to t he Hospice of the Central Coast or the donor's favorite charity.
