J. W. Brammell TAKEN BY DEATH Native of Miciigan Twp. Spent Prectically Entire Life in County
John William Brammrll, 79, a resident of Clinton Vounty practically all of his life, died at the family home on North Street, west of the Ingram-Richardson plant at 6:45 o'clock Tuesday afternoon following an illness of several days. He suffered a stroke of paralysis Sunday and little hope had been held for his recovery since that time.
Funeral services will be held from the Chuech of God at 2:3o o'clock Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. J. H. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Plummer Cemetery. The body will be removed from the Aughe and son mortuary to the family home where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening.
Mr. Brammell was born near Boyleston, Jan. 18, 1856, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Brammell. He married Sarah Stuart in 1879. She preceeded him in death only a few months.
He was a member of the Church of God of Hillisburg.
Three darghters, Mrs. Naomia Hampton and Mrs. Ina Elsie Finney of Frankfort,; and Mrs. Sarah Williams of Gadbrook, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Ann Palmer of Hillisburg and two half-sisters, Mrs, John Higgenbotham of Indianapolis and Mrs. Elmer Strawn of Frankfort, 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren survive him.
Mr Brammell was widely known throughout the county. Save for fice years residence in Iowa, he had lived in and near Frankfort all his life.

Mrs. Sally Brammell Taken by Death
Mrs. Sally Ann Brammell, 85, wife of William Brammell, a resident of Clinton County since 1879 died at the family home on Jefferson Road at 1:45 o'clock Monday afternoon following a long illness. She had been bedfast for the last three weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon from the Church of Gog with William N. Huffer officiating. Burial will be at the Plummer Cemetery.
Mrs. Brammell, a resident of Michigan Twp. for many years was highly respected by all who know her. She lived near Boyleston and Hillisburg for many years before moving west of Frankfort about four years ago. Mr. Brammell retired from farming about 6 years ago.
She was born in Rush Co. Oct 13 1848, a daughter of William and Sarah Stuart. She was married to Mr. Brammell in 1879. A member of the Church of God, she took an active part in church affairs until her recent illness.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Hampton of Frankfort; Mrs. Albert Finney, also of Frankfort; and Mrs. J. W. Williams of Gladbrook, Iowa. Twenty-Two grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive her.

Once more the enemy, death, has invaded our ranks and claimed as his victim one of our beloved sisters.
Sister Lillie Effie Finney, wife of Bro. George Finney, was born June 27 1879. Married Dec. 25 1896. United with the Church of God in May 1895. Was baptised by Brother Jerry Hatch.
She was taken with consumption and heart trouble one year ago and died Sep. 11 1907, age 28 years, 3 momths and 14 days.
She leaves a husband and a six-year-old daughter, father, mother, and a host of friends to mourn her loss.
She was a loving wife, a kind mother, and was loved by all who knew her. Her funeral was preached at the church by Brother George Neil of South Bend, Indiana.
Though the cloud of sorrow hangs over the home and neighborhood, the sunlight of Dod's Word "That ye sorrow not as those who have no hope", sheds its beams around the bereaved ones. It is indeed sorrowful to see one so young claimed by the ruthless hand of death; yet it is consolation to know that she put on Christ by being baptised into his nsme, and lived faithful to the end.

George F. Finney,62, a resident of the Rossville community several weeks, died yesterday morning at his home from a heart attack caused by a blood clot. He jad been ill but a few hours. The family moved one and one-half miles southeast of Rossville from north of Hillisburg the first of March. Mr. Finney became ill shortly before two o'clock but died before the arrival of a physician. Oswell Weidner, county coroner, was called and conducted an inquest.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at two o'clock from the Church of God, north of Hullisburg. Rev. Anderson will officiate and buriel will be at Whiteman Cemetery, south of Michigantown.
Mr. Finney was born in Delaware Co. on June 8 1875 and he was the son of William and Alwilda (Spencer) Finney. He came to this coundy as a young man. He was united in marriage in 1897 to Lillie Brammell, who preceeded him in death in 1007. He was married the second time in 1914 to Hattie Walker Wood, who survives.
Survivors are the wife, a daughter by the first marriage, Mrs, Hazel Kirkpatrick, east of Frankfort and Harold Finnry and Brs George Wood. Goodland; Alva Wood, Michigan City; Roy Roush, Rossville; Mrs. Nora Anderson, South Brnd; three grandchildren and four step grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Hugh Huffer of Winchester and a brother, a Albert Finney of Frankfort.

Hazel Florence Finney was born in Clinton Co., Indiana near Scircleville, Indiana. She lived all her life, except for a short period in Hancock Co., Indiana, in Clinton Co., Indiana. J. W. Brammell TAKEN BY DEATH Native of Miciigan Twp. Spent Prectically Entire Life in County
John William Brammrll, 79, a resident of Clinton Vounty practically all of his life, died at the family home on North Street, west of the Ingram-Richardson plant at 6:45 o'clock Tuesday afternoon following an illness of several days. He suffered a stroke of paralysis Sunday and little hope had been held for his recovery since that time.
Funeral services will be held from the Chuech of God at 2:3o o'clock Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. J. H. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Plummer Cemetery. The body will be removed from the Aughe and son mortuary to the family home where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening.
Mr. Brammell was born near Boyleston, Jan. 18, 1856, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Brammell. He married Sarah Stuart in 1879. She preceeded him in death only a few months.
He was a member of the Church of God of Hillisburg.
Three darghters, Mrs. Naomia Hampton and Mrs. Ina Elsie Finney of Frankfort,; and Mrs. Sarah Williams of Gadbrook, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Ann Palmer of Hillisburg and two half-sisters, Mrs, John Higgenbotham of Indianapolis and Mrs. Elmer Strawn of Frankfort, 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren survive him.
Mr Brammell was widely known throughout the county. Save for fice years residence in Iowa, he had lived in and near Frankfort all his life.
