10/8/1995 YOAK, ARVIN J. Arvin J. Yoak, 73, of Grantsville, died Monday, Oct. 2, 1995, at his home after an extended i llness. He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late William and Bitha Brown Yoak. He wa s a watchmaker, carpenter and cabinetmaker, and was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodis t Church. Surviving are his wife, Jean Kelley Yoak; one son, James M. Yoak of Grantsville; two daughters, Carol Taylor of Grantsville and Rosalee Yoak of Norfolk, Va.; thr ee sisters, Geraldine Stump of Alvaton, Ky., Helen Godbey of Polk City, Fla., and Willa Lea K elley of Grantsville; and three grandchildren, Angela and Stacy Yoak and Rebecca Taylor. He w as preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Services were scheduled Wednesday,1 p.m. , at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, with Rev. Alfred Hickman and Rev. Peggy Schmit z officiating, and burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
