Mu ch f amil y information appears in a paper writte n b y Abrah am i n 1638 , including Abraham's opposition t o hi s son Isa ac' s marriag e to Lady Arbella ("that ove r hig h match"). A brah am also wr ites that Isaac "in hi s coveto usness and am bitio n, unnatura lly got from him < Abraham> , his father' s <Rober t's> whole e state", with t he aid o f a clerk calle d "a lew d fellow, ...w orthless , ...an ene my to good minis ters an d religion and go odne ss."
