Sallie's tombstone says she was born on December 13, 1859. The 1860 census for the family of Jason Cowart, (Spelled Coward), does notshowa Sallie, but does show a child named Emaline, who is 6/12 of a yearold. Maybe Sallie and Emaline are the same child. She died of consumption.
