Alva returned to Mo. to marry a childhood sweetheart, Orion Francisafter WW I.and resemed the name of Hendrix( of school days)  His children still use Hendrix. After the death of Orion, Alva married  Ina Hilda Harvelene Croy.  "Rena" Lorena Bell Sourgeon (Alva's sister)  remarked "Father like son"  they bothmarried their housekeepers.
