Former Greenvillian Dies In Dothan,m Ala.
Pascal D. Cureton, formerly of this city but more recently aresidentof Dothan, Ala. died at the latter place yesterday afternoonaccordingto word received by relatives here. Mr. Cureton, the son ofthe lateHugh and Mrs. Kate Cureton attended school here, and wasconnected fora number of years with the American Machine andManufacturing Co. Tenyears ago he left Greenville and operated agarage in Dothan duringhis residence there.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Date Cureton of 914 Pendletonstreetand by two sisters, Mrs Charles Manly and Mrs. Tollie L.Little, andone brother Joohn M. Cureton, all of this city.
Thos body will be frought to Greenville for funeral servicesandinterment, which will be geld at on hour and place to beannounced.John M. Cureton, a brother has gone to Dothan and willaccompany thebody to Greenville.

James Everett Cureton served during the Revolution with th e Bland Dragoons in the Waxhaws in 1783. "James Cureton of the 1st Light Dragoons, Continental Caval ry, on December 21, 1778, received pay as a wounded soldier , and he was paid in Nov. and Dec. 1777; and was with Gener al "Lighthorse" Harry Lee in his Paulus Hook escapade, an d was wounded at Brandywine". {From Gwaltney's Historical R egister of Virginians in the Revolution, page 200.)
