The silhouette of Henry Drinker was found on the Rootsweb Quaker site on the internet, and came from a book called "Quaker Profiles: Pictorial & Biographica 1750-1850".  Early Quakers objected to having their portraits drawn or painted, but likenesses drawn from tracing a shadow casting and trimming out the resulting shape were considered acceptable by the church. March 6, 1988  RD

From "Commemorative Biographical Record, Centre County, PA", page 70: "Henry Drinker was an ironmaster and ship owner of Philadelphia; was arreste in 1777 and sent to Virginia under pretense of hostility to the American cause; he was a member of the common council of Philadelphia, and a large land ownere; he was born in 1734, and died in 1809."[Downing.ged]
