Her husband apparantly held property at Oakley, Staffo r d s h ire, and his wife was co-heir of William Hill. Th e h il l s w ere from Buntingsdale, a parish in Market Dray ton , Co un ty S alop. Today Market Drayton is a bustlin g litt el to w n seve n miles southwest of Woore, on the hi ghway f rom Ne wc astle-u nder-Lyme to Shrewsbury. Willia m and Beat rice m a y have liv ed in market Drayton, for th eir son, Th omas i s k nown to hav e lived there. On Decemb er 24, 1508 , Willia m re ceived serve ral farms and land s in Woore fro m Willia m Hill , the elder . On July 28,15 51, William Bul keley "o f Woore " receive d a tenement i n Woore from Galfr id Leigh , and a c roft of la nd in Grav enhanger from Andre w Waggs . William i s also desc ribe d as "of Oakley". Thu s the loc ation of th e major resid e nce of William and Bea trice is i n some doubt .
