General Notes (Husband)



Ezekiel "Zeke" and Nancy, his sister,  went to White Plains areaofAnderson County, SC. where Zeke became a Baptist Preacher.  Manyofhis relatives are buried at Guthrie Grove Church of God oftheAbrahamic Faith off Hwy 29 & HWY 8 intersection  on GuthrieGroveChurch Road  near  White Plains.  That church was started by aNCpreacher and named for the Guthrie family who donated the landabout1896.


General Notes (Wife)



Catharine & Sarah Guthrie were sisters.  Catharine joined GuthrieGroveChurch of God  and was re-baptized 11 AUG 1931 when she was 85yearsold.


General Notes for Child Albert Newton Durham



Guthrie Grove Church of God was started in AUG 1896 byPreacherAnderson from NC.  His son, John Anderson, was the 2nd pastorof thechurch and his 2nd wife was Lulie Mae Chandler, the daughter ofRuthAnn Durham and Dick Chandler.   Newt's tombstone has the markingsforthe Woodman of the World and a Shriner.  His tombstone atGuthrieGrove Cemetery reads, "ALBERT NC. DURHAM".
