General Notes for Child Joshua Ellis



Joshua and Polly moved to Blount Co., AL soon after marriage and stayed 12 years. Then migrated through GA to Corsicana, TX ca 1872 and later to Whitt, Tx. They had 8 children.The two oldest sons, Robert Asbury and Cyrus Hamilton, were chaplains in the Confederate Army. Source: Ransom Ellis, Jr.
