Golman Edens is suspected to be the son of John Edens (born ca 1770inVA) and Mary "Polly" Masters (born ca 1770 in VA) who married onOct5, 1797 in Henry C ounty, VA.

Unable to locate Hannah's parents.  There is a Landon Isomlivingnearby Hannah  and Golman in the 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880 censusinHawkins/Hancock County TN t hat could possibly be a brother.  He isalittle older than Hannah, but not old  enough to be her father.


General Notes for Child Isham Edens



Died as a child.  I remember my grandfather telling me that hisfather(Wm. Jac kson Edens) had a brother that disappeared when he wasabout10 years old.  He went to gather berries one day and never cameback.They didn't know if the In dians had gotten him or perhaps awildanimal.  I'm assuming Isham is who he wa s talking about.Ishamappears in the 1850 census, but cannot be found after t hat.

It is said that Rebecca married a George Edens (age/parentageUNKNOWN)for a sh ort period of time.  No Children.  Living with nephewNeal W.Edens (son of Wm.  Jackson Edens) in 1920 Hancock County TNcensus.Census states that Rebecca w as a widow.
