After World War II, Dean was a Security Guard at the Kansas Boys Reformatory, Hutchinson KS, police and sheriff's dept, Garden City, Finney CO, KS. and Chief of Police, Scott CIty, KS. (where he got the nickname "Chief"). He was an avid fisherman and hunter, Royal Arch Mason. Before returning to the army during WW II, he worked at the Glenn Martin Aircraft Factory in Baltimore with his brother Hobart and his nephew, Kenneth.

"Rus" spent the greater part of his life as a Loss Prevention Engineer. Notable jobs were the Astro Dome, Houston: Tower of Americas, San Antonio, Tx and was assigned to work on the Super Dome in New Orleans, La when Hurricane Camille struck in Sept. 1969.

Mark was a studio percussion teacher when he was 15 years old. He was a drum clinician for Pearl Drum Co. He worked for Gibson Guitar and Pearl Drum Co. and worked for Roland Co. He played as a show drummer with "The Buddy Fry's and 'Johnny Speed' Shows. He loves baseball, hunting and fishing, (like his son, dad and grandad). He has a photography studio and Emberton Marketing Company.
