Albert was widely known as a philanthropist, and wa s t h e f o under of the Hingham Public Library.
For many years he had been an honorabale and successf u l m e r chant at Boston; was elected to the senate of Mass. 1841, and throughout the entire period of his active life was w i d e l y known as a philanthropist and Christian gentleman. At th e c l o s e of his business career, in 1868, he returned again to Hing. and here continued his benevolent work. He was the fou n d e r o f the Hingham Public Library, and in many other directions as benefactor to the inhabitants of his native town. Re s i d e d on North St., opposite the Hingham station of the South Shore Railroad. He left no issue.

Albert was widely known as a philanthropist, and wa s t h e f o under of the Hingham Public Library.
For many years he had been an honorabale and successf u l m e r chant at Boston; was elected to the senate of Mass. 1841, and throughout the entire period of his active life was w i d e l y known as a philanthropist and Christian gentleman. At th e c l o s e of his business career, in 1868, he returned again to Hing. and here continued his benevolent work. He was the fou n d e r o f the Hingham Public Library, and in many other directions as benefactor to the inhabitants of his native town. Re s i d e d on North St., opposite the Hingham station of the South Shore Railroad. He left no issue.
