John Milleson came to Hampshire Co. West Virginia and bought land from Wm. Reeder
General Notes for Child Jesse T. Milleson
Jesse T. (F) Milleson was the youngest son of John Milleson of Hampshire Co. West Virginia and sold land to his brother, Benjamin Taylor. He moved on to Ohio. He worked for a Benjamin Vanpelt as a miller. He is found in the census of his area. His two sons, Joseph Silas and John, married Vanpelt sisters, Mary Ann and Margret according to the recordds of Highland Co., Ohio. Jesse moved from Ohio to Park Co., Indiana as John was born in Park Co. They must have had people in West Virginia, Ohio, and Indiana. Jesse and Lucinda and the Barker families are found in the Vermillion Co., Indiana census. Joseph S. and Mary Ann. John and Margret were in the Clinton Co., Ohio census of 1850. This is odd, James Milleson and Noah's sons of James and Dorothy Knight Milleson were in the adjoining County, Clermont, in the same census. They married the Hill sisters. Their father was living in Fulton County, Illinoise and they were in the same TWP, in the 1860 census. I can't connect the two families but I believe they all descend from the Millesons of Chester County, Penn.
