General Notes (Husband)
James Stanyarne, son of the immigrant Thomas Stanyarne an d his wife Mary, arrived in South Carolina as a child in Ma y, 1675. He married Rachel Fitch, daughter of Jonathan Fitc h. They had at least four children: Elizabeth (m. John Wood ward), Sarah (m. Richard Woodward), James, and Thomas. Jame s Stanyarne died sometime between 24 February 1703 when h e was in the House and December 1703 when Hannah and John S tanyarne executed a bond for the administration of his esta te.

General Notes (Husband)
From Henderson Daily Newspaper-July 1936 Funeral services for C.W. Fitchett, local manager of the Singer SewingMachine Co. and well know citizen, will be held Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.in the chapel of Crim's Funeral Home with Rev. J.N.Phillips, pastor ofthe First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in LakewoodMemorial Park with Rev. Neal D. Canaon, pastor of the MethodistChurch, conducting the last rites there. Mr. Fitchett died this morning in an Overton Hospital following astroke of paralysis, Thursday afternoon in Sexton City. Mr. Fitchett is about 65 years of age. He is survived by his wife andthree sons. Mr. Fitchett had been working in Kilgore and vicinity Thursday and wasreturning home when he stopped at a Sexton City cafe. He mentioned tothe proprietor of the cafe that he was not feeling right. Aftersitting at the table for a few, as he attempted to rise he sufferedthe stroke. After being kept in jail in Overton Thursday night, he was identifiedby Deputy Homer Gary and immediately placed in the Overton Hospital. A receipt book found on Mr. Fitchett revealed that he had collectedmore than $75 during the day, but no purse or money was found on hisperson, It was stated.
