The home w as what use d to be and i s now resto red as th e Kent Tavern M useum , operated by th e Vermont Hi storical S ociety. He marri e d secondly on 2 5 February, 192 2, Mytie A . Slayton, a wid ow , who died i n the 1950's. The y resided i n Montpelie r Vermon t, wher e he was employed b y the City o f Montpel ier in the P ubli c Works Department .
