According to the official history of the Civil    War, Drury served with the 16th Indiana Infantry Regiment, Company G,  formed in Rush Ca, IN. with his brother Henry, under Captian Aaron McFeely.  Drury was captured at the battle of Ft. Donelson approximately 3 weeks after mustering into the service. In the Rushville Republican, Thursday 14 Feb 1884 Drury is listed as a candidate f or Sherrif on the Republican ticket.  A letter from Signa PONSLER states Drury is buried in Section 4 of the Arlington East Hill Cern. Anna: 1920 census sondex, Rush County, Indiana, does not list family Anna is living with.
