Kimball and daughter of William A. and Esther A. Gheen, born in Wcand (sic) Chester County, PA, December 20, 1827. Buried in the Kimball-Whitney Cemetery."

Our Pioneer Heritage, LDS, Vol 10, p.406: "Died in the 19th Ward of this city October 12, 1879, of bronchitis, Ann A. Gheen Kimball, wife of the late Heber C. Kimball and daughter of William A. and Esther A. Gheen, born in Wcand (sic) Chester County, PA, December 20, 1827. Buried in the Kimball-Whitney Cemetery." Ibid. p. 405: "Ann Alice was tall, of dark complexion with black, silken hair, very dark eyes and ws intensely spiritual in her nature. She appeared happier at home than aborad, unless she could administer help and comfort to her friends, and to those who were in need. She was the mother of five children."
