Private in Confederate Army, Co. F 28 in Georgia Infantry. Heenlisted 7/22/1861 at Orange Georgia. He was wounded at Seven Pines,VA on 5/31/1862. His last roll call on file was 12/31/1863. He waspaid $11 month. He died of tuberculosis in April 1880. William Gilleland was the executor of his estate,which consisted of the following:
